Homebase – Local marketing campaign
December 2012 – September 2013
I was contracted by Homebase to design concepts and final artwork for a new local marketing campaign. Part of the brief was to make sure the design concepts worked across a variety of formats.
What I did
I designed concepts using Homebase brand elements, focusing on imagery and the marketing messages. The aim was to find a balance between brand, image and call to action. My approach was to present a simple but elegant clean design which could be interpreted by other designers and adapted easily.
It was a sizeable on-going project with various creative review stages and scheduled deadlines. Each part of the project was carefully planned and executed on time and with stakeholder approval.
I also created brand guidelines for internal and external designers to use and provided templates and final examples from published campaigns.
